For the first time, the Isle of Wight will host a sold out event dedicated to understanding and supporting those with learning difficulties.

Organised by Islander Jo Rees, a dyslexia assessor and social media influencer, the sold-out Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Conference will take place at the Lakeside Hotel in Wootton on Wednesday, November 13.

The event promises to be an invaluable resource for educators, parents and anyone eager to deepen their understanding of these conditions.

The conference boasts a lineup of expert speakers, including Dr Helen Ross, an acclaimed dyslexia specialist, Louise Selby, the founder of Morph Mastery, and Rob Jennings, co-founder of the Dyscalculia Network.

The event, held in collaboration with the Hampshire Dyslexia Association, emphasises equipping participants with practical knowledge to create more inclusive and understanding learning environments.
