A BUTCHER from the Isle of Wight is raising money to thank those who have helped him in his battle with cancer.
Des Jarvis, owner of DW Jarvis Family Butchers in Ryde, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and started treatment four months ago.
The 20-year is now on the road to recovery and, as a gesture of thanks to those who helped him in his time of need, he has decided to give back to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Des hopes customers will support him and order their hampers from his shop.
