An incident involving a woman falling from a coastal path on the Isle of Wight sparked a callout for emergency service teams this afternoon (Sunday).
At around 3pm, HM Coastguard was alerted to the incident at Yaverland Beach.
Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team were called to the scene – to assist the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
They were responding to a report that a woman had fallen from the coastal path nearby.
The patient was assessed and taken into the care of paramedics, said a spokesperson for HM Coastguard.
