A SECOND Isle of Wight property on Ventnor’s landslip-hit Leeson Road has sold at auction.
The vacant, three-bedroom semi-detached property was available to purchase for cash buyers only and had a guide price of just £10.
Auctioneers, First For Auctions, said internal viewings were not possible and they had not inspected the property.
It went up for auction on Thursday, October 31, with bidding opening at 10am and ending at 11.34am.
A total of 416 bids were recorded and the property sold for £48,590.
The adjoining property, which went up for sale earlier this year, sold for £29,690.

Biding for that property lasted for one hour and 45 minutes, during which time 503 bids were recorded.
Last week, the Isle of Wight Council confirmed it is still working towards its original timescale in respect of the works being carried out on Leeson Road.
Deep borehole drilling commenced last month, beginning on September 9, at three locations on the road.
An initial timescale of ten to 12 weeks was given for the scheme.
At the start of the project, Cllr Phil Jordan said he hoped the road would open in five to six weeks, but that timescale has now elapsed.
