I have been trying to get dogs to be banned from West Street Cemetery in Ryde for seven or more years.

It was blessed as consecrated ground in the 1800s for the deceased, not a dogs toilet.

Some dog owners ignore the signs, by walking amongst the  graves.

It is the owners of dogs who foul the deceased by letting their dogs there.

A few months ago I had left my family grave after cleaning and putting flowers there. As I was walking down the path a man and dog were walking in the opposite  direction, towards my family.

Because of other instances I turned and watched. I saw the man stop suspiciously by my family.

He let the dog leave the path. I walked back to my family as the man walked off.

On the plinth of bible, a puddle of urine.

Inhumane dog owners like him is why dogs have no place in cemeteries.

I did not go after him, as he let the dog do this heinous thing on my precious family he would let him do it again.

I went to the cemetery the same day a week later. He was there again. He let his dog urinate on a very old grave.

I told him there are signs telling you not to let your dog foul graves.

He walked off not saying a word.

A man swore at me a few years ago when I told him the same thing.

There has been faeces left too close to my family.

I emailed councillors, some do not even answer.
