Isle of Wight singer Ruby has released a music video filmed at an iconic Island manor house to promote her latest single.
The track, Nail in the Coffin, was co-written by Ruby and guitarist Sam Marshall, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Tom Ellis Hall, who has worked on projects for huge acts including The Beatles, Elton John and Bastille, headed up the mastering in London after the song was recorded at Empire Sound on the Island.
Working closely with English Heritage, Ruby then filmed a music video for the song at Appuldurcombe House, directed by Media House’s Blake Nash.
The song, produced by Dan Ashdown, is about someone taking a swipe at a professional reputation.
Speaking on the filming of her music video, Ruby said: “To be able to film at the beautiful Appuldurcombe House is a real privilege.
“Working with the incredible Blake Nash and Media House makes this a project I'll never forget.”
Earlier this year, Ruby made her debut mainland performance at Southampton’s HMV store, and in April, she was shortlisted for the Wight Noize competition final – to perform on the Isle of Wight Festival main stage.
