A PROLIFIC Isle of Wight offender has been sentenced for his latest shoplifting offences.
Timothy Young, of Ocean View Road, Ventnor, appeared before Portsmouth magistrates on Sunday, October 26.
The 56-year-old faced two charges of theft from a shop, in Sandown and Ventnor, between September 29 and October 23.
The court heard he stole goods, namely a pizza, a milkshake and cold meats, to a value unknown, from the Co-operative on Sandown High Street and the Co-operative on Pier Street in Ventnor.
Young, who has an unenviable criminal record, with more than 30 convictions to his name, was fined £80.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £85.
