Fire services on the Isle of Wight assisted a horse unable to stand this morning (Friday November 1) in Ryde.
Firefighters from Ryde, Newport and Shanklin responded at around 10am to assist with a horse unable to stand in a field off Ashey Road.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service left the animal in the care of the horse's owner and a local vet.
Fire services returned to station at midday.
