A MOTORCYCLIST was caught riding her Honda while more than twice the drug-drive limit for cannabis.
Cejan Whiteside, of Victoria Road, Newport, only caught the police's attention because of the speed she did when she rode past them.
She admitted drug driving on May 4, when she appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 1.
Giles Fletcher, prosecuting, said just after midnight, police on patrol in Newport saw Whiteside ride past them and, concerned by the speed she was going, pulled her over in Chapel Street.

When officers spoke to her at the roadside, her eyes appeared glazed, and she provided a positive test for cannabis.
Following the 24-year-old's arrest, Whiteside, with no previous convictions, provided a positive blood test for cannabis metabolite THC.
The reading was 5.1 ug/l when the legal limit is 2.0.
The bench was told Whiteside had been co-operative with the police throughout.
Whiteside, unrepresented, said: "I'm very sorry. It was really silly of me to do that."
Magistrates banned Whiteside from driving for a year and handed her a £233 fine, with a £93 surcharge and £85 costs.
