Currently, there are temporary traffic lights near the cemetery on Fairlee Road, with Island Roads undertaking the reconstruction of the footway and carriageway, with any associated drainage and preparation works.

This is expected to continue until midnight tomorrow (Friday, November 1).

Staplers Road is also congested, as it has been throughout the morning, with St George's roundabout slow-moving, and a section of Medina Way is too, but Coppins Bridge roundabout is very busy, as all roads feed into it.

Update (6.05pm): There is traffic congestion on Long Lane and around the roundabout with Downend Road and Briddlesford Road this evening (Thursday October 31), near Robin Hill.

Robin Hill's After Dark Halloween Party is taking place at the country park tonight.

Southern Vectis has said that Route 8 bus services are being delayed by 20 minutes due to high volumes of traffic owing to the event.
