Eight-year-old Ivy Venables, who attends Lanesend Primary School, Cowes, quite literally lost her head with her queen creation.
And the staff of Tile House Residential Home, Shanklin, celebrated Halloween with a party for residents and their families — transforming themselves from carers to scarers!
Halloween is also celebrated by pets, according to Caitlin Chessell, of Northwood, who sent a pumpkin inspired picture of her dog, Oakley, a three-year-old Cocker Spaniel.
"He deserves his time in the spotlight. He’s never been in any newspapers before and will be so excited to know he will be famous," Caitlin joked.
