WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Here is a list of some of the roadworks and associated closures:
RYDE: Monkton Street will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Jubilee Place and Park Road, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Monkton Street will also shut during utility works, between its junctions with St Johns Hill and Park Road, between 8pm on Thursday and 6.30am on Friday, November 8.
NEWPORT: Whitcombe Road will close during ironwork repair, between its junctions with Froglands Lane and Newport bridleway 109, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Also, Betty Haunt Lane will close during bridge works, along its entire length, over three shifts, sometime between Monday and Thursday.
NITON: Sandrock Road will shut during vegetation works, between its junctions with Buddle Lane and Undercliff Drive, over one shift, sometime on Monday.
Also, Institute Hill will shut during vegetation works, between its junctions with School Lane and Glen Approach, over one shift, on Wednesday.
SANDOWN: Station Avenue will close during tree programme works, between its junctions with Station Road and Broadway, over two shifts, sometime between Monday and Tuesday, then over three shifts, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 8.
NEWCHURCH: Ventnor Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Newport Road and Newchurch footpath 28, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
WOOTTON: Church Road will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with High Street and Wootton Lodge, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.
PORCHFIELD: Whitehouse Cross will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Whitehouse Road and Calbourne and Porchfield footpath 12a, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, November 8.
BRADING: Bullys Hill will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 9am on Wednesday until 6pm on Monday, November 18.
Also, Lower Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with Well Lane and Brading footpath 50, between 9am and 3.30pm on Wednesday.
And The Mall will close during utility works, between its junctions with Hornsey Rise and Bullys Hill, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Tuesday, November 12.
YARMOUTH: Thorley Street will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Thorley Road and Tattles Lane, between 8pm on Monday and 4pm on Wednesday, November 20.
TOTLAND: Moons Hill will close during utility works, between its junctions with Highdown Lane and The Drove, between 9am on Tuesday and 6pm on Thursday.
SEAVIEW: Springvale Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Oakhill Road and Puckpool Hill, between 7pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday.
COWES: High Street will close during utility works, between its junctions with The Cut and Cross Street, between 9am on Monday and 5pm on Friday, November 22.
