The Isle of Wight Council is seeking feedback from unpaid carers to help shape future support services.

In 2025, the council will renew its contract for providing information, advice, and guidance to these individuals.

A survey has been created to gather this feedback, which the council says will be considered in the service plan.

The survey can be found at the council website and is estimated to take between five to ten minutes to complete.

Laura Gaudion, director of adult social services "The Isle of Wight Council recognises unpaid carers as the ‘quiet heroes’ in our Island’s community and want to ensure that they have the help and support to enable them to carry out their caring responsibilities while improving and protecting their own wellbeing."

The deadline for submissions is November 30.

A paper version of the survey can be requested by emailing Liz.Hennessy@iow.gov.uk.

The council is keen to hear from anyone who is, was, or is likely to become an unpaid carer.
