Cyclists from the Wightlink-Wight Mountain CRT team achieved multiple podium finishes over the weekend.
On October 27, members of the team competed in two cycling events across the south of England.
Ewan Cook, Kirsty Cook, MacKenzie Cook, and Nadia Lele participated in the Gorrick Halloween Classic XC at Highlands Farm in Surrey.
Ewan achieved a brilliant win in the Open Sport Category.
He said: "The legs felt good so I went in for the kill early on and took the lead which grew over the course of the race and finished in first place."
The mountain biking course at Highlands Farm had a few climbs and technical corners, challenging riders, particularly Kirsty, who was racing for the first time.
Nadia decided to step up to race in the Expert class and narrowly missed out on victory.
She said: "Unfortunately, I couldn’t recover from that mistake and had to settle for 2nd place, but I’m still very pleased with that result."
Despite a crash, Kirsty managed to secure second place in the Grand Vet category.
Oli Nolan took part in the seventh round of the Wessex Cyclocross League in Kingsclere, near Newbury.
Oli narrowly missed out on a top 10 finish, crossing the line in 11th place.
