ROADWORKS will see an important stretch of High Street in an Isle of Wight town close this week.
Ventnor High Street, between the junctions of Spring Hill and Victoria Street, will be closed during utility repair and maintenance works, from 7am this morning (Monday, October 28) until 4pm on Friday, November 1.

Scottish and Southern Power will be carrying out work to install a road crossing for an electric vehicle charging supply to the Central Car Park on the High Street.
Diversions will be signposted locally. Expect traffic delays in the area.
UPDATE:
Work is ongoing but the road remains open.
