An Isle of Wight estate agent has featured Island photography from a recent competition on its property boards.

Hose Rhodes Dickson has featured four photos of Island locations, taken by the competition winners, on their new recycled property boards.

The photos come from competition winners Layton Foreman, Alix Parsons, Stuart Byrnes and Simon Connellan, who all live locally to the locations of their photographs.

Layton's image was of The Needles at sunset.

He said: “As a photographer, the Isle of Wight is one of the best places in the UK for landscape photography.

"I love how you can create a perfect photo anywhere on the island from sunrise to sunset.

"I have been a photographer for more than ten years on the Isle of Wight and photographed nearly every inch of it, but I am always stunned by its beauty.

"The Isle of Wight seems to have its unique weather system, but this enables me to produce amazing images whether it be sunset or sunrise.”

Simon's photo was taken at Appley Tower.

He said: “I love living on the Island, we have a different pace of life over here.

"Being able to wander down to the beach on a hot summer's day is priceless.”

Alix's photo was taken at Arreton Valley and Simon's photo was shot at Blackgang.

Competition winners received £200 in vouchers and runners-up received £50 in vouchers and their photographs featured on Hose Rhode Dickson's website.

The competition ran at the start of the summer and received numerous entries.

Marcus Waldron, regional sales director of Hose Rhodes Dickson said: “We received some stunning images, there is a lot of talent out there.

"Of course, we are fortunate enough to have some of the UK’s most captivating scenery, so competition was always going to be strong.

"We finally decided on the winners, and their artwork is now featured on our new look boards.

"The competition enabled us to communicate the Island’s beauty in our marketing as well as celebrate good photography and elevate our ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’ signs.”
