A wellness centre is offering training courses which are the first of its kind on the Isle of Wight.
The Wellness Barn in Gatcombe has opened The Wellness Academy, which offers courses in the beauty industry.
The academy is the first privately owned training space of its kind on the Island, saving students' travel and accommodation fees to train on the mainland.
The centre will be providing a range of courses for those looking to train and upskill, and other workshops.
For example, a Chemical Peel course will be run on Thursday, November 19, and a Deep Tissue Massage course will be run on Tuesday, November 26.
More information can be found on The Wellness Barn's website.
The Barn is currently in its third year of trading and was recently awarded the Prestige Award's Massage Clinic of the Year for the London and South East region, as well as many other awards.
The centre offers placements for beauty students at the Isle of Wight College, and has recently partnered with Wessex Cancer Support to offer a free treatment per month to someone in need.
The Barn also offers HydroTherm massage, a full-body massage which involves clients laying atop heated water cushions, giving a sense of weightlessness. Staff believe it is the only place on the Island that offers it.
