Isle of Wight fire services lifted a young horse in difficulty this morning (Thursday October 24).
Fire services responded to a call 11.30am asking for assistance in lifting a three-year-old horse.
Crews from Newport and Ryde utilised special equipment and carefully executed the lift.
A veterinarian was able to safely assess and attend to the animal after the crews had completed the lift.
