A WOMAN suffered a head injury when a Seat Arosa car flipped over in a late night accident on the Isle of Wight.
Police and an ambulance were called at 10.23pm — responding to reports of a collision involving two vehicles at the junction of High Park Road and Arundel Road in Ryde last night (Tuesday, October 22).
One of the vehicles, the Seat Arosa, overturned.
The passenger of the Seat, a woman aged in her 30s, suffered a head injury, but is not serious, a Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said.
The driver of the Seat, however, left her at the scene on foot.
The casualty was taken to St Mary's Hospital, Newport, for treatment.
Fire crews from Ryde also attended for scene safety.
Police are continuing their inquiries into the incident.
