A Sandown man denies causing over £1,500 damage to the headquarters of an Isle of Wight Freemasons lodge.
Gavin Price, referred to as Jason Whittam, of Downsview in Sandown, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 15.
The 50-year-old pleaded not guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
It is alleged that Mr Whittam damaged windows, flowerpots and a gate at Sandown Masonic Centre on Melville Street in Sandown, also the home of Loveland Hall restaurant, on August 24.
Mr Whittam is said to have caused approximately £1,692 worth of damage.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction of the case, and a trial will take place on April 16, 2025.
Mr Whittam was granted unconditional bail.
