An Isle of Wight man who drug drove with passengers in the car has been banned from the roads.
Appearing at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 11, Sam Hart, of no fixed address, admitted drug driving.
At around 5.35pm on April 18, a Mini Cooper was stopped on Lake Hill by police, whose in-car system showed the vehicle had no insurance.
Prosecuting, Lauren McConnell, said the 38-year-old was driving and had passengers in the car.

Hart was asked to provide a saliva sample which came back positive for cocaine and BZE, a breakdown of cocaine, she said.
Hart had 16ug/L of cocaine in his system, when the legal limit is 10ug/L.
Hart, who has four previous convictions for 11 offences, chose to represent himself in court.
He told magistrates: "I did do it. It is my fault."
He was handed an 18 month disqualification and ordered to pay costs, totalling £365.
