An Isle of Wight man denies being repeatedly abusive and violent towards his girlfriend over eight months.
Anish Tiwari, of West Hill Road, Ryde, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 15.
The 20-year-old denied a single charge of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
It is alleged that, on numerous occasions around August 1, 2023, until April 6, 2024, Mr Tiwari was ‘repeatedly’ abusive and violent towards his girlfriend.
Mr Tiwari was granted conditional bail and will appear for trial on December 19.
