Former ITV news host Fred Dinenage is set to celebrate 60 years in broadcasting with a special event.

Fans can join him at Shanklin Theatre on Saturday, November 2.

Fred, known for his work with Southern Television, TVS, and Meridian Broadcasting, has been a staple in British television since 1964.

He presented regional news across the South for 39 years and was recognised with an MBE in 2010 for his services to broadcasting.

Fred also hosted popular shows like Tell The Truth, How, and How 2.

In recent years, he has ventured into crime documentaries, including Fred Dinenage: Murder Casebook.

His anniversary show will feature stories from behind the scenes, unseen archive footage, and personal bloopers.

The event promises to be a trip down memory lane.
