The Isle of Wight County Press will return to Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival this year - and you can get involved by decorating our tree!

We are asking readers to make small origami decorations and baubles out of Isle of Wight County Press newspapers to hang on our tree.

Last year, 12 decorations were picked to decorate our tree after we received over 100 entries.

We are looking forward to seeing your inventive entries this year, and we will choose our favourites to adorn our display. The best will receive a prize.

You can send your decorations to us or drop them off during office hours at County Press, Innovation Centre, St Cross Business Park, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5WB, before Friday, November 29.

The only requirements are that the decorations are small in size and are made out of County Press newspapers. Remember to leave your contact details, in case you are a prizewinner!

We will choose the best and display them on our tree, which can be found in Brighstone Reading Rooms.

Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival will run from December 5 to December 8 across a range of venues in Brighstone, Mottistone, and Calbourne.

The festival has been held since 1996 and has raised over £100,000 for charity.

All venues are free to visit.
