A cloudy weekend ahead has been forecast by the Isle of Wight Met Service.

Today (Friday), we should see a bright, fresh day with sunny spells, and occasional areas of cloud moving through.

Expected temperatures between 11 and 12°C, with light north 3-8mph winds, becoming light to moderate east then southeast 6-12mph.

Tomorrow (Saturday), the IW Met Service is forecasting a cloudy start with some patchy, light rain, and the odd cloud break in the afternoon.

Expect temperatures between 14 and 16°C, with light south 4-9mph winds, becoming moderate west 7-14mph, then moderate northwest 12-22mph.

Sunday should be a dry, cloudy day with limited hazy, sunny spells.

Expect temperature between 11 and 13°C, with light to moderate north 5-11mph winds, becoming moderate east-southeast 11-22mph in the afternoon.
