An Isle of Wight charity is encouraging people to 'go yellow' to raise money.
Mountbatten Isle of Wight's Go Yellow Day will be held on Friday, October 11.
The charity encourages people whatever they wear, eat, or do to make it yellow.
A series of events will take place involving schools, businesses, and councils.
Teams at St Mary's Hospital's outpatient department, East Cowes Town Council, Pet Doctors and Eldriges Solicitors will be wearing yellow.
Shanklin Community Library will display yellow books and Yarmouth WI will hold a coffee morning.
Beauty By Ells and Canvas10 Nails will also raise funds for Mountbatten Isle of Wight.
An over 18s day disco will take place at Strings Bar and venue in Newport on Sunday October 13.
The event will start at 2pm and run until 7pm.
Tickets are available through Sunday Skool.
School caterers Chartwells will donate 10p from every school meal sold on Friday.
A host of primary schools will also mark the day.
The charity encourages anyone who participates to share their Go Yellow event, using the #GoYellow.
In May, a record-breaking £500,000 was raised by Walk The Wight, Mountbatten Isle of Wight's iconic annual walking event.
Meanwhile, Katie Crocker has walked 67km for Mountbatten Isle of Wight, trekking along Camino in Spain from Palas de Rey to Santiago de Compostela.
She has raised nearly £3,000 for the charity.
Katie completed the challenge in memory of her friend, John Gardner, who died at the Isle of Wight's hospice in October 2023.
She started the challenge on October 2, John's birthday.
Katie said: “John was funny, fantastic and remarkable and he loved Spain. He would have been really chuffed.
"I saw how amazing Mountbatten's nurses were with John and his family and friends. They need funds to be able to do this.
"John would say I was daft, but he would have been proud of me for doing it, as would my dad and brother-in-law, who both died suddenly.
"Because these people I care about had their lives cut short, I'm always reminded how precious life is."
