WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Here is a list of some of the roadworks and associated closures:
CALBOURNE: Lynch Lane will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Brighstone Byway 44 and Calbourne and Porchfield Bridleway 17, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
NORTHWOOD: Hillis Gate Road will shut during drainage CCTV survey works, between its junctions with Parkhurst Forest and the Cowes-East Cowes Footpath 23, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
NITON: Newport Road will close during carriageway works, between its junctions with Southford Lane and the Niton-Whitwell Footpath 85, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Also, Newport Road will close again during utility works, between its junctions with Laceys Lane and Crocker Lane, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Friday, October 18.

SHANKLIN: Chine Avenue will shut during carriageway works, between its junctions with Alexandra Road and Vernon Meadow car park, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.
EAST COWES: Vereker Drive will close during carriageway works, between its junctions with Hefford Road and Vereker Path, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.
FRESHWATER: Queens Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Camp Road and Bedbury Lane, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, October 18.
TOTLAND: Weston Lane will close during utility works, along its entire length, from 9am on Monday until 5pm on Wednesday.

SEAVIEW: Seagrove Manor Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, between 9am on Monday and 5pm on Wednesday.
Also, Circular Road will shut during crane works, outside Nelson House, over one shift, sometime between 9am and 4pm, between Wednesday and Wednesday, October 23.
COWES: High Street will be closed during utility works, between its junctions with Fountain Quay and Market Hill, between 7am on Monday and 3pm on Friday, October 18.
Also, Town Quay will be closed during utility works, along its entire length, between 7am on Monday and Friday, October 18.
