An Isle of Wight woman threatened to punch her carers in the face after feeling ‘short-tempered' and 'stalked'.
Sarah Killingback, of Upper Yarborough Road in East Cowes, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 1.
The 47-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Lauren McConnell, prosecuting, said care workers came to visit Killingback at her home as part of their four daily visits.
Ms McConnell told the court that the carers, standing outside, could hear arguing inside the house, and upon opening the door, Killingback was verbally abusive, telling them, “f*ck off or I will punch you in the face.”

The carers told Killingback they just wanted to check on her due to their duty of care but left after she became aggressive, the court heard.
Michael McGoldrick, defending, said his client felt like she was being "harassed or stalked" by the care workers, and she did not want them there.
Mr McGoldrick told the court that on the day of the offences, Killingback felt short-tempered with them after enduring their visits for three to four weeks.
The court heard that Killingback has since been in touch with social services, and now the carers no longer visit.
Magistrates handed Killingback a £120 fine and ordered her to pay costs of £85 and a £48 surcharge.
