An Isle of Wight man sexually assaulted an unconscious woman and took pictures of her genitals after she fell down the stairs, a court has heard.
Edward Addison, of no fixed abode, formerly of Grafton Lane, Sandown, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates via video link on Tuesday, October 8.
The 77-year-old admitted sexually assaulting a woman and recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent, in Sandown, on May 10.
He also admitted three counts of making indecent images of a child, between February 2 and April 11 of this year.
Prosecutor, Lauren McConnell, said Addison’s victim had a medical condition which caused her to occasionally collapse, and on the day she was assaulted, she’d left her home to smoke a cigarette.
When she returned, the court heard she collapsed and fell down the stairs, and when she began to come to, she felt a hand going toward her crotch.

Ms McConnell said the victim opened her eyes and saw Addison, who had entered her home address, and recalled hearing a clicking sound, like that of a camera.
The court heard the victim told attending paramedics what happened and Addison was arrested the very next day.
Ms McConnell said, in police interview, Addison initially denied any wrongdoing but confessed to the assault and to photographing down the victim’s trousers during an appointment with probation.
The court heard a tablet belonging to Addison was seized and contained six images of his victim’s genitals.
He was also found in possession of a small quantity of child abuse images, of which three were category A – the worst kind.
Oscar Vincent, defending, said Addison pleaded guilty on a full facts basis and was fully co-operative with police.
He said he was already due to be sentenced for breaching a sexual harm prevention order and a pre-sentence report was being prepared.
Addison saw his case adjourned to November 13 at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
