A Ryde man denies punching a stranger in the face in an alleged unprovoked attack outside an Isle of Wight hotel.
Jack Taylor, of The Strand in Ryde, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 1, and faced a single charge of assault by beating.
The 27-year-old is alleged to have attacked a man who was leaving Yelf’s Hotel on Union Street in Ryde on June 16.

Mr Taylor denies the accusation.
A magistrates’ court trial is set for April 30, 2025.
Mr Taylor was granted unconditional bail.
