Audience members can expect audience interaction, references to Luton Town Football Club, and even being asked to write poetry themselves.

John even devised a poem persuading Islanders to buy tickets to the show.

He said: "I return to the Isle of Wight rocks.

"I am glad from my specs to my socks.

"Though, I will not give vent to my American accent,

"which I used in the musical The Pyjama Game,

"and The Telegraph commented that it never left Liverpool docks."

Quay Arts will also host a one-man show of Frankenstein on Thursday November 7.

Frankenstein (On a Budget) will bring a mix of comedy and horror, with the solitary actor playing 25 characters throughout the show.

The show has been touring the UK.
