AN ISLE of Wight motorist caught driving without due care and attention has been banned from the roads.
The case of Saji Tharayil, of The Broadway, Totland, was heard before Aldershot magistrates on Monday, September 23.
At a previous hearing, the 58-year-old admitted driving without due care and attention, on Newport Road, on December 3 of last year.
He also admitted a single charge of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, on the same date.
The court heard he was driving a Toyota Yaris at the time of the offences.
Tharayil was fined £384 and disqualified from driving for four months.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £110 and a £154 surcharge.
