A wealth of cruise ships are set to pass through the Solent this week, with many visible from the Isle of Wight. 

Here's a list of arrival and departure times – for eagle eyed snappers and ship enthusiasts keen to spot the vessels on route. 

They are as follows: 

  • Today (Southampton): IONA at 06:00 and 17:30; VENTURA at 06:30 and 17:00.
  • Today (Portsmouth): SPIRIT OF DISCOVERY at 07:00 and 17:00.
  • Sunday (Soton): NORWEGIAN PRIMA at 06:30 and 17:00; REGAL PRINCESS at 06:45 and 16:00.
  • Tuesday (Southampton): CARIBBEAN PRINCESS at 06:30 and 16:00.
  • Thursday (Ports): AMADEA at 08:00 and 19:00.
