WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

Here is a list of some of the roadworks and associated closures:

CALBOURNE: Town Lane will close during structures maintenance scheme works, between its junctions with Gold Street and Corf Road, over ten shifts, sometime between Monday and Friday, October 18.

NITON: Kingates Lane will shut during excavation and investigative works, between its junctions with Newport Road and Kemming Road, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

NEWBRIDGE: Clay Lane will close during street furniture repair works, between its junctions with Main Road and Shalfleet Bridleway 22, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

RYDE: Marymead Close will close during carriageway repair works, from its junction with Simeon Street and along its entire length, over one shift, sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

GODSHILL: Roud Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Beacon Alley and Godshill Footpath 19, over one shift, sometime between Tuesday and Thursday.

Also, Godshill Park Road will shut during carriageway repair works and drainage works, from its junction with Shanklin Road and along its entire length, over five shifts, sometime between Monday and Friday, October 11.

WROXALL: Yarborough Road will close during excavation and investigation works, between its junctions with Ventnor Bridleway 131 and a distance 56m heading east, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 11.

SEAVIEW: Duver Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Oakhill Road and Salterns Road, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 11.

FRESHWATER: Bedbury Lane will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Middleton and Queens Road, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 11.

Also, Norton Green will close during utility works, between its junctions with Norton Green Industrial Park and Hill Lane, between 8.30am on Monday and 3.30pm on Tuesday.

LAKE: Golf Links Road will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Sandown and Shanklin Bridleway 46 and Station Approach, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 11.

BRIGHSTONE: Badger Lane will close during drainage works, between its junctions with brook Village Road and Brighstone Bridleway 52, over one shift, sometime between Wednesday and Friday, October 11.

Also, North Street will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Wednesday.

BRADING: The Mall will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Bulleys Hill and Wrax Road, between 8am on Tuesday and 4pm on Friday, October 11.

COWES: Bridge Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Pelham Road and Bernard Road, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, November 22.

GURNARD: Rew Street will close during utility works, between its junctions with Pallance Road and Westview Road, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday.

BEMBRIDGE: Steyne Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Sandown Road and Preston Road, between 8am on Monday and 6pm on Wednesday, December 18.

NEWPORT: Calbourne Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with Betty Haunt Lane and Pump Lane, between 9am and 3.30pm on Tuesday.
