A former Isle of Wight man denies groping a teenage girl on multiple occasions over a four-month period.
John Paul Westwood, of Medina in Tamworth, attended the IW Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 1, and faced six child sex offences.
The 49-year-old denied all counts of intentionally touching a child under the age of 15.
It is alleged that the offences occurred on multiple occasions, both on the Island and on the mainland, between March 1 and June 25.
Magistrates refused jurisdiction of the case, opting instead to send it to a crown court trial.
Mr Westwood was granted conditional bail and will appear for the start of trial proceedings on November 11.
