An NHS consultant working at the IW's St Mary’s Hospital, accused of multiple sexual assaults, has been found not guilty by a crown court jury.
John Ochai, of Church Road in Wootton, attended the IW Crown Court for the conclusion and verdict of his trial on September 20.
As previously reported by the County Press, the 71-year-old pleaded not guilty to five charges against him.

Mr Ochai was accused of four counts of sexual assault on a female and causing a female to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity.
All of the claims against Mr Ochai were alleged to have occurred within St Mary’s Hospital on June 8, 2016, and August 28 and 29, 2019.
Mr Ochai, who has a 40-year career in the medical profession, was found not guilty on all counts.
According to The British Association of Urological Surgeons, Mr Ochai has since retired.
