An Isle of Wight farm shop has announced it is closing on Sunday.
Fanny's Farm Shop in Freshwater will close its doors then the site will be put up for sale.
A spokesperson said: "It is with great regret that the shop will be closing the doors for the last time on Sunday, September 29, for personal reasons.
"The site will then be put up for sale. I hope that a new buyer can be found that will carry on the ethos of the shop for all things local.
"For the remaining last few days all stock will be half price. Thank you Fanny’s it’s been a blast."
The shop opened on July 1, 2022 at Hill Lane in Norton Green.
However, within a month of opening, the shop launched a GoFundMe due to financial concerns.
The owner appealed for help, saying "The closure of Fanny’s is a genuine possibility without your generosity. Please give whatever you can to save Fanny’s Farm Shop. Thank you."
The shop was named in memory of owner Nicola Briggs’ great grandmother Nellie Beatrice Salter, who was always known as Fanny.
Fanny grew up on a farm on Ash Lane in Gunville, which belonged to her parents, James and Emily.
The family were well-known, selling their home-grown produce from a cart around the Newport area.
Fanny died aged just 27 leaving a husband and three children.
The farm shop's ethos was to offer an old-fashioned, friendly, local, zero waste food and produce buying experience.
Nicola ran the farm shop and nursery, her son James managed the grounds, and her niece Kay Scott was formerly the farm shop manager.
In March, the Island lost Cheverton Farm Shop when it closed its prominent Godshill site, moving all operations back to the farm.
