A COLLISION involving a car and a pedestrian sparked a callout for Isle of Wight police and paramedics yesterday evening (Monday, September 23).
As previously reported, emergency service teams were called to Perowne Way at around 6.40pm.
They were responding to a report of a road traffic incident outside Central Perowne Way Stores.
The road was closed in both direction for a time, between its junctions with Central Way and the entrance to Fairway Holiday Park.

A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said officers were alerted at around 6pm.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian.
The latter suffered minor injuries.
