Isle of Wight gardens won big at a prestigious horticultural awards.
Osborne House, Farringford Gardens, Norton Grange Coastal Village, Bembridge Coast Hotel, Ventnor Park and Ventnor Cascades were all recognised at South and South East In Bloom 2024.

Farringford Gardens, in Freshwater, was awarded a South and South East In Bloom Gold Award for Heritage Garden.
The walled garden was awarded a Silver Gilt, missing out on the Gold rating by one point.
The gardens are only seven years old, having been restored by the current owners to commemorate the heritage of poet Alfred Lord Tennyson's former home.
Tennyson lived at Farringford House from 1853 to 1892.
Ventnor Park also took home a Gold award, while Ventnor Cascades were accoladed with a Silver Gilt.
South and South In Bloom is the largest horticultural campaign in the region, aiming to celebrate achievement, promote environmental responsibility and foster community participation.
The ceremony took place at RHS Wisley in Surrey.
