A 17 year-old boy from Ryde is under investigation following being arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife.
Police were called just before 12:20pm yesterday (Monday September 23) following reports that a teenage boy had been seen with a knife on a bus in Wootton.
He was reported to have left on foot in direction of Church Close.
Officers attended the road, where a 17 year-old boy from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.
He has since been released under investigation.
