The formal laying up of the Isle of Wight RAF Association Branch Standard was conducted following the branch's closure.
The ceremony was led by the Reverend Roger Whatley, Royal British Legion chaplain for the Isle of Wight.
Standards from the Royal Military Police, the Royal Engineers Association, the Fleet Air Arm, and the Royal British Legion were present.

The ceremony was overseen by the Island's parade commander.
The chairman of the Fareham RAF Association branch and former members of the Isle of Wight branch were also in attendance.
The Fareham branch will now manage Isle of Wight memberships.
