THE Isle of Wight's dual carriageway — Medina Way in Newport — will close, heading southbound, for roadworks, over the course of a few days.
Island Roads has said it is necessary to allow for safety during carriageway safety barrier and kerb repair works, over one shift, sometime between today (Wednesday, September 25) and Friday (September 27), or when the works have been completed.

The southbound side will close between its junctions with Dodnor Lane and Riverway.
The alternative route will be signposted locally.
