Isle of Wight ferry firm Wightlink has released its timetable for next year, and customers have until the end of October to book a 2025 sailing before prices rise.

The cross-Solent operator says its 2025 timetable is now available for booking, and customers can book travel in 2025 at 2024 prices until Thursday, October 31.

Next year, the ferry company will operate just over 39,000 crossings across its three routes, which is in line with the total number of sailings in 2024.

For its 2024 timetable, later services were introduced between Lymington and Yarmouth at weekends, following customer feedback.

This time, on its Fishbourne to Portsmouth route, there will be an additional round-trip sailing on vehicle ferries on Wednesdays, from April 2 to November 26, 2025.

Following feedback from customers, more daytime sailings have also been added on the Yarmouth to Lymington route on the busiest days of the year.

Meanwhile, the FastCat foot passenger service will continue to operate 36 crossings a day, on average, between Ryde Pier Head and Portsmouth Harbour.

The operator says, by extending Wightlink’s trial three-boat service in summer 2024, there will be more spaces onboard for Islanders who travel using their Multilink Pass tickets, as well as increased capacity overall.

Commercial Director Phil Delaney says: “We are committed to running the fullest-possible timetable year-round for Isle of Wight residents and tourists from the mainland.

“We are always looking at how to schedule our ferries to meet the demand from our customers and focus our resources where they are most needed.”
