Police have released an update following an investigation into reports that a boy received a 'death threat' on an Isle of Wight bus.
As previously reported, Hampshire and IW Constabulary were called at 9.49pm on Sunday (September 15) to reports that a 16-year-old boy had been threatened on a bus.
The bus in question is understood to have been the Southern Vectis number 3.
Police said that a knife had allegedly been seen, but the boy was not injured.

Officers found and stopped the bus on Ventnor High Street and arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of making threats to kill.
Another boy, aged 15, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.
In an update, a police spokesperson said the two teenagers have been bailed until December 16.
No one has been charged at this time and Hampshire and IW Constabulary are carrying out further enquiries into the alleged incident.
