A minister has marked 30 years of service at a church.
Reverend Brian Harley, minister of Shanklin United Reformed Church, took on the role in September 1994.
He moved to the Isle of Wight from Cambridge with his wife, Janet, and their three children, after training for ministry for four years.
Before this, he worked in the City of London in commercial fire insurance.
Over the years, he has seen many changes, including replacing hard pews with comfortable seats to accommodate different types of services.
The church now hosts a monthly Encounter Cafe service.
It also runs 'The Well' every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm, providing a safe space with crafts, activities, community talks, and free refreshments.
A 'Healthy Half Hour', led by a qualified professional, encourages gentle exercise before the session.
In 2014, Reverend Harley also became the leader of Ryde United Reformed Church in Haylands.
Reflecting on his long service, Reverend Harley said in 1994 he was looking forward to many years of service, but nobody thought it would be this many!
