A TEENAGER suspected of threatening to kill a boy, in an incident involving a knife on an Isle of Wight bus, was one of two teenagers arrested.
Police were called at 9.49pm yesterday (Sunday, September 15), to a report a 16-year-old boy had been threatened on the number 3 bus travelling from Newport towards Lake.
It was also reported a knife had been seen.
The alleged victim was not injured during the incident.
Police located and stopped the bus on Ventnor High Street and detained three boys under 'stop and search' laws.
A flick knife was found during the searches.
Two teenagers from Newport were subsequently arrested.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill, and another, aged 15, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.
Both remain in police custody, with inquiries ongoing.
