A LATE night attempt was made to break into a newsagents on the Isle of Wight.
Police were called at 7am yesterday (Sunday, September 15) with a report of a burglary at an address in Arctic Road, Cowes.
It was reported "people attempted to gain access" to Blakes News, at 4am, but were unsuccessful and left the scene.
Nothing has been reported stolen.
Police have launched an investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting 44240396106.
