The road is blocked by emergency vehicles, with cars unable to get past the scene.
An eyewitness told the County Press he doesn't believe anyone was badly injured.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are both in attendance this morning, having been called about 7.30am.
Update (11.45am): Minerva Road is now clear, with the overturned vehicle removed from the scene.

"Two people reported minor injuries.
"The road is now clear."
