Isle of Wight horse riders, carriage drivers, cyclists, mobility scooter users and residents walking, with or without dogs, will join together on Sunday (September 15).

The community will gather in South Wight support of the Island's Pass Wide and Slow (PWAS) campaign.

Starting at 1pm, at Cook's Castle Farm in Wroxall, the PWAS Ride serves as a reminder for drivers to be mindful of vulnerable road users.

Participants will be offered complimentary hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes at the farm.

The ride begins at 1.30pm, with the group travelling through the local countryside.

At 2.30pm, in Upper Ventnor, a photo shoot is scheduled to shine a light on the importance of road safety for vulnerable users.

Several notable figures are expected to attend, including MP for East Wight Joe Robertson, Cllr Rodney Downer and representatives from the Hampshire and IW Constabulary.
