A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a collision in Blackwater, police have confirmed.
Police and ambulance services attended the crash on Blackwater Hollow at 6.24pm last night (September 9).
The collision involved a BMW car and a Mitsubishi motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, has suffered serious injuries.
The road was closed between Highwood Lane in Rookley and the Blackwater junction on the outskirts of Newport until around 9pm, but has since reopened.
